About us
Founded in 2012, this company has been formed of a group of producers,
which consists of four companies already on the market as potato producers,
and four individuals, also producers.
The main activity of the company is trading with fruits and vegetables. We have two large warehouses with a total capacity space of 10000 tons of crop, equipped with ventilation and moistening systems which of course meet the current E.U. standards.
Each warehouse has its own multifunctional Ekko packaging line, with packing solutions at the customer’s demand : Rachel bags of 2.5, 5, 10,15, 20, 25 kgs, or 1 and 1.5 kg nylon bags. Both of these packaging lines have their own washing/polishing/drying system.
The land cultivated by these four partners is more than 1400 ha, merely half of this being of potato and vegetables, and the rest of the cultures is beets, wheat, corn, mainly for the rotation of the crop.

– Yellow and red potatoes
– Carrots
– Yellow and red onions
– White and red cabbage
– Beetroots
– Parsnip
– Celery
As for food safety certifications, we have set the standards of Global G.A.P./ HCCP/ ISO22000 :2005.
What we do more is the importation of Polish and Hungarian crop such as:
– Golden and red apples (Idared, Red Chief, Ionagored, etc.)
– Yellow and red onions
– White and red cabbages
– Carrots
– Parsnip
– Celery
– Beetroots
– Broccoli
– Cauliflower
– Iceberg salad
– Chinese cabbage
These imported products can be packed at the customer’s demand as well, in Rachel bags of 5,10,15,20,25 kg or in plastic bags of 1 and 1.5 kg. We can deliver any quantity of these.
The deliveries are arranged directly on the platforms of supermarkets, with refrigerated trucks.
Agrowest – a local company in Cernat, has as the main activity the cultivation of field-crop, such as potatoes, wheat, rape-seed, sugar-beet,onions, carrots, parsley, red beet -on an area of more than 310 ha. Elitagro – started its activity in 1997, and through the years the main activity of the company became the cultivation of grain, legumes and oleaginous plants. The main product is potatoes for seeding, consuming and industrialization. Besides these, there are more, like seed and regular wheat, corn, sugar-beet, carrots, rape-seed, onions, soy. We have to mention that this company is a family business, managed by the family members both technically and economically. Since 2009, new technologies have been introduced in machinery, sorting and packaging lines, irrigation systems. With the help of EU funds, the company extended the cultivated surface reaching now 200 ha in Covasna county.

M&P Agro – started its activity in 1995 with a 4 ha area, with 3 employees, having as main activity the cultivation of grain, legumes and oleaginous plants. This company, also as Elitagro, is run by the Peter family. Since then the company has upgraded the technology in machinery, irrigation, packing lines, warehouse systems, and also with the help of the EU funds, now has the capacity of storing 4000 tons of crop in ventilated warehouses. The main crop is potatoes, both for consuming and dehydration, as well as wheat, rape-seed, corn, onions, carrots, etc.
The company has met the Global G.A.P. certification standards, this guarantees quality.

Timate – has been founded in 1993, the cultivation of grain, legumes and oleaginous plants being the main activity of it. Throughout the years, potatoes have proven to the most successful product, both early and late varieties. Th palette of products has been enlarged starting from the 2010’s to rape-seed, red beet, carrots, onions, on more than 250 ha of land. The machinery and technologies used in sorting, packing and storing the crop make it possible to constantly grow among the companies with the same profile.
